Nearly $38,000 in grants has been awarded to Sayre teachers for the 2024-25 grant period.
Sayre Elementary School had eleven grants funded for a total of 11,532.23.
Jamey Guy-Pre K, Brittney Hill-Pre-K, Andra Wyatt-1st, Staci Barker-2nd, Sharon Cummins-2nd, Caitlyn Macaulay-2nd, Connie Ousley-PE for PreK-2nd, Katie Swint-3rd Social Studies, Melissa Lewman-4th gifted and talented, Millie Greene-5th, Cheyenne Jones-Special Education;
Sayre Middle School/High School had eight grants funded for $16,808.36 and the top grant for $9650.00. This was a funding of nine grants for a total of $26,458.36.
Carmen Givens-MS, Cynthia Krehbiel-MS Science, Dana Day-MS/HS Art, Amanda Greer-HS Computer Science and Multimedia, Ashley Hixon-HS Geometry, Sheila Hunter-HS Math, Lori Park-MS/HS Vocal Music, Tim Martin-MS/HS Band, Kristy Phyillaier-MS/HS Special Education. Brenna Sweat-HS Science Teacher received the top award for her grant; Enhancing STEM Education with Interactive 3D Anatomy: Integrating Anatomage into Science Curricula.
