Teacher Grants
Grant applications for the 2026-2027 school year have officially opened. Grant limit is $17,500 and there is no restriction on the amount requested for a grant.
Funding is intended to support innovative or enrichment opportunities. Our goal is to supplement—not replace—school-provided resources. Grant funds may not be used to purchase materials, programs or curriculum that fall within the school’s standard budget responsibilities.
Please take note of the following guidelines:
- No Chromebooks will be funded due to licensing and security issues.
- No furniture with the exception of sensory furniture for students.
- No printers
- No school supply items
- Playground items should be permanent to the school and have the
approval of the building principal and superintendent. - All computer software must be acceptable to district standards.
- Teachers may apply as a group for a project
Include a cover sheet with the following information: name, cell phone, email, school position, grade level, building principal along with title of your project (grant) and amount requested.
- Educational Need
- a. Give a description of the proposed need for the project.
- b. How many pupils will be affected by this project.
- c. Will the project materials be usable in subsequent school years.
- Project goals
- a. What is the major need and curriculum objectives this project addresses.
- b. Describe your specific plan of action for meeting these objectives.
- c. How is your project innovative.
- Outcome
- a. What indicators will determine the success of the grant.
- b. What will happen to the project at the conclusion of the grant.
- Budget
- a. This grant can be for a maximum of $17,500.00
- b. Detail your budget request. Include specific information such as kinds of materials and equipment needed, sources for supplies, catalog numbers, costs and number of items needed. Be sure and include shipping and handling where appropriate but do not include tax.
- Documentation of grant success.
- a. Grant recipients will be asked to sign a contract which will detail the terms and requirements for providing evaluation, photographs and social media postings documenting the success of the grant.
Deadline for applications is May 27, 2026 @ 3:00pm. Late applications will not be considered.
