Teacher Grants

The Sayre Public School Foundation will award approximately $35,000 in grant money to Sayre Public School Educators for the 2025-2026 school year.

The CRITERIA for the selection of grants is based on the following statement: this grant is to support teachers who are implementing innovative and creative teaching methods to enhance student learning. The goal is to encourage and fund initiatives that foster critical thinking, creativity, and active engagement with students while expanding existing curriculum.

New this year, there is no restriction on the amount that can be requested for a grant. The Foundation is looking for innovative and creative ideas which will have a meaningful impact on our students.

Funds awarded will not take the place of federal, state or local funds for school operating expenses. Please take note of the following guidelines:

  • No Chromebooks will be funded due to licensing and security issues.
  • No furniture with the exception of sensory furniture for students.
  • No printers.
  • No school supply items such as glues, paints and notebooks.
  • Playground items should be permanent to the school and have the approval of the building principal and superintendent.
  • All computer software and hardware must be acceptable to district standards.
  • Teachers may apply as a group for a project.

GRANT MONEY IS LIMITED TO $35,000.

Applications open May 30, 2025.  Deadline to apply is June 30, 2025 at 1 p.m.  Completed applications can be submitted by using the form below and uploading the grant and supporting materials.
